We met on a crowded street in Marrakech.

Our meeting was just around this street

He’s quite young, and he also shot some photos of the city.
Then we talked because we had taken on the same topics.
He speaks French; I speak English.

But even though we don’t speak the same language, we can talk about the same issue.
Our passion, our subject.
He uses Canon, whereas I use Fuji.
He uses a 50 mm lens, but I use a 35 mm lens.
I took pictures of him with his beautiful camera and visa verca.

The tower of Koutobia Mosque

Our encounter occurred near the Koutoubia Mosque, where you could discover numerous people, exquisite ornaments, and grand architecture

The Koutoubia is square in style, as opposed to domed minarets found in Middle Eastern mosques. Built in the 1200s, the mosque’s tower has guarded over the old city.
It is Marrakesh’s most well-known landmark; thus it is easy to find.
We then separated to continue our respective journeys.

I crossed the street to go to another spot, Djemaa El Fna.
It was captivating!

You can see the tower of Koutobia from that spot

It’s a big square surrounded by markets and everything is there!

You can meet any type of people, any foods, any merchandise ,any persuasion.

You can smell the city, the smell of crowds.

Actually, my destination is to go to Souk Semmarine, but I get lost!

But then it’s okay..in the way to there, I’ve already found many interesting things!

And it’s so colourful!

That is Morocco.

They even have colors for specific cities. Marrakesh is for Red!

Casablanca is for White.

And all is so georgeous

In the next day, again I missed the target.

My destination is should be to Saadian Tomb , but I just go around that place..which is also not disappointing at all.

I even don’t care about the name or where I am that time since there’s so many lovely things we can met that day.

The tiny road with many Moroccan merchandise

The smile faces, the tiny road, the beautiful woman in the corner, even the kids that playing soccer in the middle of the many people..

The smile face we met

They just play soccer ..don’t care ..they just enjoy.

And we can join !

Just join play soccer with them !

Before get lost in this area, the taxi driver who drive us, promote and brouhgt us to a shop which very famous for Argan Oil . Morocco is the procedur for this oil, which they claimed much better than Olive Oil.

We got trapped actually since we don’t want to go shopping…we just want to walk!

But, since they’re very good to promote, then we decide to bought ..

And I don’t regret it all!! It was so gooood…

The making process of Argan Oil

In the next evening, I can finally go to Bahia Palace and El Badi Palace.

Ohh trust me darling…those places were so fabulous!

An 8000-square-meter, floor-to-ceiling extravaganza of elaborate marquetry, plasterwork, and zouak (painted wood).

La Bahia (The Beautiful) is undeniably one of the most breathtaking views in Marrakech.

One of the spacious square in the Bahia Palace’s compleks

You can feel the love, you can see the genious guy behind these building, the uniqueness, the charm.

The beautiful ornamen at Bahia Palace

You are just drowning.

There are many labyrinths and doorways throughout Bahia Palace, and if you don’t follow the directions, you’ll get lost inside the building.

One of nice corner in Bahia Palace
The door to the labyrinth

But who cares? Since I’ve previously been lost on prior days, I accept this and simply follow my institution wherever I go.

And it’s not just me.

We met folks from all over the world, simply seeing and smiling at one other, and found our way to enjoy the mystery of this place.

It’s as if we were “thrown” into another universe.

To some decades ago, when everything could be more simple than these days.

And what about El Badi Palace?

The best spot in El Badi Palace

This place is more open compare to Bahia Palace, so you don’t have to worry that you will get lost here .

At least you just get lost to the feeling that I can’t describe..

The grandeur, compassion, and purity…

Construction began in the same year that the Sultan came to power (1578). Al Mansour, the last of his line, became known as “the golden king”. Under Al Mansour’s leadership, Badia was the most splendid Muslim palace in the West.

One of the remnants of El Badi Palace

Today, just the expansive courtyard, complete with four submerged gardens and reflecting pools, give a hint of its former majesty.

Expansive courtyard ,complete with the garden inside the compleks

Here, most of architect is uniform in brownish?

While in Bahia Palace, the colour is more vary ..

Of course , they’re same in beauty.

Both feature gardens inside the building.

I suppose the King of the past created the garden to admire the same beauty of those flowers with their queen or princess.

The flowers are everywhere

The last day , I finally came to one of my bucket list in Marrakech.

To the desert! Seeing the sun slowly fall into place and be replaced by the moon would be extremely pleasant for our souls.

The perfect one, of course, is Sahara, but because I don’t have time, I’ll merely go to Agafay dessert (about 1–2 hours from downtown).
To be honest, it’s not as lovely as the photographs on social media (so the pictures should be in the Sahara!), but that’s okay.

Agafay dessert
Even their shadow is so tall

I spend about 4 hours there ..

We ride the camels ( it’s quite scary actually since they’re so tall). Actually, not only camels, but you can ride other vehicles in this desert.

Can you see them?

We also enjoy the food and beverages( tajine and mint tea must be on the list ! ) and also enjoy the song by some Maroccon guys.

The special container for serving tajin
Not only tajin, but they also have mint tea and cake for us !

They even sing Birthday song for someone who celebrate her birthday ..

We sing along together , even though we don’t know who is celebrating

The majority of my tour companions in my group speak French, however others speak English.

The singer speak in Moroccan or Arabian song ?

But, we just want to celebrate those moments ..to make the sweetest memories to her..

I believe that day was the finest for her!

Actualy , it’s also one of my best days in my life.

Finally, the sunset came

Thank you Morocco…see you again in different colour and feeling 😊
