Mt.Bromo that morning..

Mt. Bromo is like an almighty magnet that always makes us want to come again and again …

We never seem to be able to resist returning.

I’ve been to Bromo many times, and each time I’ve been left speechless (or gasping, or whatever else you name it:-)

Though we’ve been back many times, even a brief visit never seems long enough. Located between the Mt. Tengger-Semeru range which is still active today. This spot is easily accessible from three different cities: Malang, Pasuruan, and Probolinggo in East Java.

Everytime I come here, I never know what to expect because there is always something new…

If in the past I had seen the sunrise from Mount Penanjakan, then I have seen it from Cinta’s Hill, and the most recent time we saw it from Kingkong Hill. This hill is one of the new spots, and it has only been open for the past two years…As usual, it’s just as fascinating and lovely as anything else… This location isn’t hard to get to, and we won’t have to walk too far.

The epic view of Mt.Bromo

The sacrifice to wait for sunrise is insignificant compared to the beautiful scenery that is presented when the sun begins to reveal itself .. so spoil the eyes. We can even wait for it at the nearest stall, accompanied by a cup of coffee or hot tea .

Sunrise at Mt.Bromo

Compared to waiting for sunrise on other mountains whose facilities are not as complete as Bromo, of course this is a luxury in itself. This is probably due to the fact that Bromo is so well-known among domestic or foreign tourists. By riding a jeep vehicle that mostly has the same model and brand, with its various and beautiful colors, making this also one of the attractions to take pictures in front of it, with the background of the mighty Mount Bromo … then all of a sudden we can become an impromptu automotive photo model of the district class!…:-D

Beautiful colors of jeep and handsome model:-)

I was even tempted to sit on the roof of this vehicle with my two friends. Since I saw quite a few other visitors doing the same thing so we immediately nodded our heads when offered by the rider… Not long into the ride, I realized that this turned out to be a big “torture” for me who is basically afraid of heights ☹

Our excited shouts mixed with regretful laughter did not stop the rider from stopping the wheel. The journey to the teletubbies hill (well, the name is unique) felt so long for me who was desperate to sit on the roof. I had to fully concentrate on holding on tight to the edge of the car roof because we kept shaking throughout the journey.

Try the sensation to sit on the roof !

Ah, this is the thing I remember most about the trip I took yesterday… What did it feel like? Try it out for yourself, because I’ve had enough:-D… Luckily, we saw more beautiful natural sights on the trip, which helped me “forget” about my fear for a while.

Teletubbies Hill is actually located in the same area as Mount Bromo, precisely in Cemoro Lawang Village, Probolinggo Regency, East Java. With a vast expanse of fields, the scenery here is truly a feast for the eyes. As far as the eye can see, the green grass of the weeds and the bright colors of the many flowers in bloom make this savanna even more beautiful.

That day, our morning was so beautiful that we didn’t want to leave this place.

Teletubbies Hill

And when returning back, walking along the sea of sand that looks authoritative but still graceful is also a special pleasure for me. Infrequently do we encounter any other vehicles. The exotic nature of this place is enhanced by the possibility of encountering a herd of horse riders.

The seemingly endless ocean of sand

The dusty, seemingly endless road makes us feel like we’re thrown into all the imaginations of our hearts..It’s as if we’ve been transported to another world..

This is not the first time I have stepped here, but somehow everything still feels different..

I admit, Bromo’s magnetism is really very attractive to all polar ends of memories, which is why it always makes us want to go back someday:-)
